The "ah ha" moment!
March, 2011 - It happened on the way home from the aucton. For years dealers have sent employees with a checkbook and said, "go buy some cars". It wasn't until the cars got back that you really knew what you had. While looking at a "book value" using an Iphone, it came to him. Why not have an app that matches a dealer's profit target, a lender, and car, exactly on the auction block, before he buys it. A firm believer of, "if you can't finance it, you can't sell it". Shawn wanted a product so simple, anyone could use it. If the light is green, the deal is clean. If the light is red, the deal is dead. It's that simple!
Developed in the Purdue University Research Park, Bidzpin was launched on Itunes in September of 2011. From concept to sales in six months, it was immediately recognized as a top product in the subprime arena.
